About WTSC
We are a vibrant and dynamic club committed to fostering a love for skating in the Norfolk County and surrounding communities. Offering a diverse range of Skate Canada-sanctioned programs, we cater to skaters of all ages, skill levels, and abilities—from beginners taking their first steps on the ice to advanced athletes striving for excellence.
Our coaches provide engaging and high-quality lessons in both Simcoe and Waterford, ensuring accessible opportunities for everyone. With a flexible registration process open year-round, it’s never too late to join and discover the joy of skating with us. Our Programs
Youth
Youth skating programs like CanSkate and STARSkate provide a fun and structured way for kids to develop their skills on the ice. CanSkate, a beginner-friendly program, focuses on balance, control, and agility, preparing skaters for various ice sports. For those advancing in figure skating, STARSkate offers training in jumps, spins, and artistry, with opportunities for assessments and competitions. Both programs build confidence, skill progression, and a lifelong love for skating.
Adult
Adult skating programs, including Adult CanSkate and Adult STARSkate, offer a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced skaters alike. Adult STARSkate focuses on fundamental skills like balance, control, and agility, making it ideal for those learning to skate or improving for recreation or other ice sports. Adult STARSkate provides advanced training in figure skating elements such as jumps, spins, and footwork, with opportunities for assessments and competitions.
