Program Assistants

Program assistants, or PAs, are essential to helping our skaters thrive. They provide on-ice instruction, encouragement, and support, always accompanied by warm smiles and plenty of stickers to keep the experience fun and motivating!

Our CanSkate programs rely on dedicated coaching and the invaluable support of Program Assistants (PAs). These individuals play a crucial role in helping our skaters succeed, offering guidance, encouragement, and plenty of smiles—along with stickers to keep things fun on the ice!

PAs are often senior members of our skating club, giving back to the community they love. We also welcome volunteers from local hockey organizations who generously share their time to support our skaters. Before stepping on the ice, all PAs complete training to ensure they are well-prepared for this leadership role. Serving as a PA is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, and high school students can earn community service hours while making a positive impact.

If you’re interested in becoming a Program Assistant, please reach out to our CanSkate Coordinator, Maddie Bard, or contact the club at wtsc.info@gmail.com.
